RowaCarbon Activated Carbon 500ml/250g

Made from the finest quality hard coal, RowaCarbon is a highly effective activated carbon which excels at removing toxins and yellowing from the water. This improves the overall health of all the aquarium inhabitants and improves light penetration.

Many algae problems can be caused from using a low-quality carbon that has high POI (Phosphate Output Index) levels which can be as high as 14.0. However, RowaCarbon is made from the finest hard coal and contains exceptionally low POI levels of only 1.3, which is considerably lower than the detection levels of most phosphate test kits.
