Maintain Your RODI Unit
Maintain your 4-stage RODI unit with booster pump using this regular replacement schedule:
- Sediment Filter (Stage 1): Every 6 months (removes rust, silt, and debris).
- Carbon Block (Stage 2): Every 6 months (removes chlorine/chloramines to protect the RO membrane).
- RO Membrane (Stage 3): Every 12 months (strips 95–98% of total dissolved solids; replace when baseline TDS rises or flow drops).
- DI Resin (Stage 4): As needed (polishes water to 0 TDS; replace as soon as output hits 1 TDS or resin changes colour).
- Booster Pump & Canisters: Flush the membrane regularly, inspect pump seals for leaks, and wash out filter housings during 6-month pre-filter changes.
