Bubble Magus Curve A Series 9 DC Protein Skimmer

The Bubble Magus Curve A Protein Skimmer comes in a choice of three sizes to suit your aquarium. These Curve A skimmers are compatible with DC controllers (purchased separately), meaning you can have optimum control. These will make sure that protein and other organic waste is removed from your marine aquarium, giving you a cleaner and healthier environment, whether you have a fish only system or a reef aquarium. The Bubble Magus Curve A Protein Skimmer means that you won't need to complete water changes as frequently, and also helps to improve water claritity, though we would still recommend regular aquarium maintenance and water testing.

These are the next step up from the previous Curve range of Skimmers, and offer the same great quality but with added features such as an adjustable stand pipe for the internal water height, connected on a simple gear system. This also comes with the new DC pump, which offers a lower power output, meaning lower running cost, and less noise as well. This is non-controllable, though could be upgraded separately for a controllable version if you wish. The collection cup features a quick release function, helping to reduce maintenance time, and the venturi air silencer also means an efficient and quiet system.

Curve A9 Protein Skimmer: best for aquariums from 900 - 1,500l, this measures 250mm x 295mm x 610mm, and should ideally have a water level height of 25cm high. Includes the DSP4000 28w DC pump.
