Seachem Renew 100ml (bagged)

Seachem Renew is an excellent substitute for activated carbons that release phosphate into the system, as it will still remove organics and particulates, but will make it an ideal choice for reefs and planted aquaria. Some carbons can raise the pH level of the water, which can be a problem in softer water, however Renew will not affect pH.

Directions

Rinse before use. Renew should be used in exactly the same manner as activated carbon. Use 250 mL for each 120–160 L (30–40 gallons). For best results, Renew should be placed so as to maximize the flow of water through it. Use in a filter bag. Replace every 4–6 weeks.
