Even in well-established tanks, corals sometimes die for unknown reasons. We have identified an imbalance in the bacterial population as the cause, in which pathogenic germs (e.g. vibrios) are present. Nyos BYOTIC restores the natural biological bacterial balance. We recommend using it not only in the event of problems, but also as a precaution.

Application:

Dosage in case of problems: 1g/100 litres (1g / 25 gal) daily for 3-5 days, then 0.5g/100 litres (0.5g / 25 gal) daily until the symptoms have disappeared (Dosing spoon 2.5ml = 2g / 5ml = 4g).

• Preventive dosage: 0.5g/100 litres (0.5g / 25 gal) once a week
• Dissolve the required amount of BYOTIC in a separate container with tank water and then add to the aquarium

Notes:

• Turn off the UV clarifier during treatment
• Higher dosages may lead to a slight drop in nutrient values (nitrate and phosphate)
