Seaflor is the base to the Caribsea range of sands. This grade of aragonite is specifically engineered for plenum-type nitrate reducing sand beds, or anywhere a deeper bed is needed. The pore water space created by precision grading also allows maximum pH support and dissolution of calcium carbonate.
Specifically designed for the marine industry, Caribsea Seaflor can be used in Cichlid or any freshwater aquariums that require a higher pH of around 8.2.
