Diet and Feeding

Firecracker Nano Gobies are carnivorous and require a diet of small, meaty foods:

• Live or frozen foods such as copepods, brine shrimp, and mysis shrimp

• High-quality micro-pellets or finely crushed marine flakes

• Feed 2–3 times daily in small portions to ensure all individuals can access food

A varied diet supports vibrant coloration, energy, and natural activity.

Temperament and Compatibility

Firecracker Nano Gobies are peaceful and well-suited for community and nano reef tanks. They are generally non-aggressive and prefer to stay close to their preferred hiding spots.

Tankmate Recommendations:

• Suitable: Other small gobies, clownfish, blennies, and peaceful nano reef species

• Avoid: Large, predatory, or aggressive fish

Providing plenty of rock crevices allows them to exhibit natural perching and darting behavior safely.
