Many times in the hobby, more so in a reef tank we need to remove a fish. Catching via a net has failed so what can we do? Well with the Hobby Genius Fish Trap we can trap it safely without damage to the fish or scape. The Hobby Genius Fish Trap is perfect to remove difficult to catch aquarium fish.

The trap is 20.5cm x 13cm x 14.5cm LxWxH, large enough for most aquarium fish. The best way to use it we have found is to set it up, making sure to level it. If not level the sliding drop door may fail to drop. Set the door so that a quarter at least is in the track as having the door at the very top also can lead to drop failure. There is a thin nylon cord that holds up the door and the best way to use this is to trap it.
