Red Sea Iodine+ 500ml

Red Sea’s Iodine+ Supplement contains Iodine along with other halogens that are related to many biological processes. One of these processes is the production of the pink pigment in the corals soft tissue.

The halogens act as both antioxidants and oxidative agents within the corals soft tissue and mucus layer. This reduces the possibility of coral bleaching.

In active reef systems, these elements are depleted quickly due to their high oxidative abilities and reactivity with organic materials. Iodine and bromine are related to the pink chromo-protein (pocciloporin).
