Feeding & Nutrition:
The Orange Hammer Coral hosts symbiotic zooxanthellae that provide much of its nutrition through photosynthesis. It will, however, thrive and display even richer coloration when fed small meaty foods such as mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, or coral-specific micro foods once or twice weekly.
Notes:
Allow several inches of space between the coral and others to prevent stings from sweeper tentacles.
Prefers stable, mature reef conditions and moderate water movement.
Avoid placing under intense direct light; moderate blue lighting enhances its orange glow.
Can be kept with other Euphyllia species (hammer, torch, frogspawn) if properly spaced.
