Feeding & Nutrition:
The Toxic Green Hammer Coral contains zooxanthellae, which provide most of its nutritional needs through photosynthesis. However, it benefits from occasional supplemental feedings of meaty micro-foods such as mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, or coral-targeted foods once or twice weekly to promote faster growth and stronger polyp extension.
Notes:
Allow several inches of space around the coral for sweeper tentacle extension.
Avoid direct, high-intensity flow or lighting that may cause tissue retraction.
Ideal for reef tanks with stable water parameters and moderate nutrient levels.
Can be placed alongside other Euphyllia species such as frogspawn or torch corals with caution.
