The Ciano Water Clear Blue Cartridge is a replacement chemical adsorbing media for Ciano Water Clear filters. This Water Clear cartridge offers chemical filtration for your aquarium and should be replaced every 30 days for optimum effectiveness.

It keeps water crystal clear, prevents bad odours and acts as a preventative in the appearance of algae. When used daily as part of a Ciano Water Clear filter in Ciano aquariums, this protection cartridge acts as a good quality preventive against aquarium algae.

What is the difference between the products in Ciano Water Clear Blue Cartridge range?

The Blue Cartridge range is available in four sizes to suit the Ciano Water Clear filter you have, it works perfectly alongside and is frequently bought with the Stop Algae red cartridge, and Bio-Bact green cartridge to provide all round optimum filtration. All of the media and filters in the Water Clear range work with the Ciano Aquarium app.

The Ciano app offers real-time monitoring of your filter, it lets you set easy reminders to replace your media and even tracks when treatments need to be used to keep water crystalline.

Can I use this filter with aquarium medications?

If you use any other medical treatments within your aquarium, such as to treat white spot or other diseases, you must remove this cartridge, as it will affect the treatment. This filter removes substances from your water, but cannot distinguish between the substances that are harmful to your fish and those that are helpful.
