What is the AquaEl Air Pump MiniBoost?

The AquaEl Air Pump MiniBoost is a compact and efficient aerator designed for use in small and medium-sized aquariums (up to a capacity of ~200L). When paired with a quality airstone, it will effectively aerate the water of your tank and keep your fish happy and healthy. It can also be used to power conventional sponge filters.

How do I install an AquaEl Air Pump MiniBoost?

The AquaEl Air Pump MiniBoost is quick and easy to install. Simply attach one end of a length of airline (sold separately) to the outlet of the AquaEl Air Pump MiniBoost and the other end to an airstone or sponge filter (also sold separately). It’s recommended that you fit a one-way valve to your airline to stop water from draining down the airline.

Then, sink the airstone or sponge filter in your aquarium, place the AquaEl Air Pump MiniBoost on a level surface close to your aquarium, and plug it into a mains outlet. If you followed the above steps, then you should immediately see bubbles appear. You can adjust the output of the AquaEl Air Pump MiniBoost using the knob on its left-hand side.
